The Maison du Répit project in Terrebonne is part of a mindful institutional approach, where landscaping plays a central role in the well-being of users. Designed for clients who may have autism spectrum disorders, the plant selection for the façade was carefully considered to ensure a harmonious transition between the architecture and the environment, while adding a soothing and lively dimension to the entire building.
Light and the will to offer a rich plant selection guided the choice of each species, taking into account their textures, colors, and evolution throughout the seasons. The result is a serene space where colors are repeated harmoniously, offering the eye comfortable and pleasant hues. Thanks to plants that stimulate the senses, reconnection with nature is also made a priority, in perfect harmony with the organization's mission.
Along the building's walkway is a row of daisies, delicate flowers symbolizing innocence, purity, and faithful love, adding a touch of softness to the visitors' journey. The white petals also highlight the architecture along the street, harmonizing and emphasizing the building's light colors.
