Design of a 12-storey residential building located on Gouin Boulevard West, in Pierrefonds-Roxboro.

Though the urban fabric of the area is primarily composed of small-scale residential neighborhoods, the larger lots closer to the river also show greater vertical densification. Therefore, our intention is to interpret this urban fabric in the project's facades, with a denser building fabric at ground level getting more and more spacious as it gains height and leads to the top floors, which will have the strongest visual connection to the river.

Living on a human scale while promoting encounters

From the multifunctional entrance hall to the roof terrace, the building incorporates multiple common spaces that enhance community life. In these gathering spaces, harmony is emphasized, allowing residents to come together.

In this spirit, lounge areas on the ground floor encourage conversation, while the community space on the roof creates conditions conducive to new encounters.

Enhancing nature & interacting with water

Bordered by the Rivière-des-Prairies, the project is designed to recognize the richness of this exceptional body of water. Its location opens onto the horizon and the landscape, establishing a strong visual connection between users and the waterway to create a balance between the dense habitat and the vast panorama offered by the site.

With the aim of further enhancing users' sense of well-being, a community space has been created on the roof. This contributes to a sense of belonging while promoting views of the Rivière-des-Prairies and Lake Deux-Montagnes.
